Building the Star Phantoms Mortiswing (Deathwing) – Updated 02/24/2013

The 1st company for any Dark Angels chapter is the Deathwing—an entire 100 man company of Terminators. The new Dark Angels codex says an “undisclosed number of Deathwing Terminator and Deathwing Knight squads” on the chapter organization page. I’ll still stick with 100 models I think, plus various command squad types. I’ll get this mapped out when I get more time to sit down and go over what I already have built and parts for.

    Hi,

    I like this, I am doing the same and currently have 7 Squads built and half of that painted (inc. Belial, apoth, standard, int chap).

    I just thought I would mention Deathwing Dreadnoughts are only Venerable, there are no normal ones.

      Right, according to the fluff all DW Dreads are Venerable. It’s not a requirement in the codex though. I don’t care for the Venerable Dread model(s) so I’m using all old OOP metal Dreads for all of them. I’ll just dress up the Venerable ones.

      Other than TL autocannons I have all that I need now. So I guess that means no AoBR Dread arms.
